Key points for our Woodridge Carefree Living, LLC rental townhouses:

Location, location, location and the views-wow.  Imagine not having to do any lawn care or snow removal, yet live in a home, not an apartment.  We saw a need for quality, affordable housing in Pierre, S.D. and developed 21 ground floor units which were constructed in 2004 and 2005 and 2007.  This is not a typical apartment with someone above or below you and no way to get outside except through hall ways.  This is very much like a ground floor home but with no maintenance.  One reason you see apartments as a high rise is because of  the cost of land and the  major expense of maintaining a lawn.  You have your own garage that goes directly in to your dining and kitchen area. You won’t believe the lush, green lawn and how well kept it is.  It possibly could be the nicest bluegrass lawn in Pierre.  We deliver direct access to your yard front and back and to your own garage.  That maintenance  is all taken care of for you so feel right at home and live carefree. Beautifully located on a wooded gulch very close to work and shopping.  This is not just for retirees but people of all ages.  Many people work hard and don’t want to use their weekends keeping up a home.  This is the perfect spot for you.

  • There are no steps in any of the units.  While we built them with seniors in mind, the tenants are made up of all ages.
  • They are roomy two bedroom units with very large, well appointed, large kitchens with islands and a one car attached garage.
  • There are two full bathrooms in units 13 through 21 with a handicap walk in shower with fold down seat.
  • One and a half baths in units 1-12.
  • The location is beautiful with gulch, wooded views.  We are located in the newer area of Pierre, close to a Super Wal-Mart.  It is in a quiet cul-de-sac with no through traffic.
  • Units 1-12 have 1,328 square feet and
  • Units 13-21 have 1,400 square feet which is very roomy and hard to find in a rental.  These are not tiny bedrooms!!  You can fit a king size bed easily in both bedrooms and each one has a large, walk in closets.  You just don’t see many apartments that include ice makers, garbage disposals, dishwashers, washer and dryers plus all the windows have custom blinds and curtains.  Just move your things in.  No Home Owners Association Fees.  Classy.  We continually update each townhouse as needed with new paint, carpet, tile, new roof, asphalt, etc.  We feel confident that there are no other apartments/townhomes that have this square footage with attached garage and ground floor quite like ours in Pierre.

The design is an open concept with kitchen islands/bar with lots and lots of counter top space and cabinets.  So proud, will say again:  All appliances are included in each unit, even washer, dryer and dishwashers.  All window coverings are included.  They are townhomes that you rent.

  • You have your own private entrance and your own front and back yard with a nice concrete patio in the back with privacy fence.
  • The front of each unit has covered porches.
  • Units 13-21 have a full tub/shower in one bath and then a walk in handicap shower in the other bath with a bench seat to sit down and hand held shower nozzle.

  • We feel we have one of the nicer, newer, upscale complexes in Pierre.
  • The lawn is meticulously groomed and we own our own snow removal equipment so you can get out quickly after a storm.
  • Rent is reasonable with location, views, loads of square footage and all appliances included. Deposit required. Year lease. We feel if you shop around, you will see the value and quality we offer at Woodridge. Please call Sally for rental rates.
  • We usually run at over 95 percent occupancy and have waiting lists at times.
  • There are no HOA dues, the outside maintenance is included in the rent along with trash pickup.
  • The utilities inside are up to the tenants.  You have control over your own central air and heat.
  • Utility bills are very reasonable as they are well insulated with newer, energy efficient furnace and cooling systems.
